About Service Restoration Pros

Not a franchise. Not a call center. A Panama City company built by someone who lives here, works here, and knows what Florida disaster restoration actually demands.

Built After Hurricane Michael

When Hurricane Michael made landfall on October 10, 2018, it hit Panama City with 160 mph winds β€” the strongest hurricane to strike the continental U.S. in over 50 years. The destruction was total in some neighborhoods. In the days after, out-of-state contractors and storm chasers flooded Bay County. Many were unqualified. Many overcharged. Many left jobs unfinished when insurance money ran out.

Service Restoration Pros was founded in response to that reality. Rusty English, a Panama City native with IICRC certification and years of hands-on restoration experience, built SRP on one principle: homeowners and property managers in the Florida Panhandle deserve a restoration company that is professional, accountable, and here long after the storm passes.

We are not a franchise operating under someone else's brand standards from a distant corporate office. We are a locally owned company whose owner answers the phone, runs the jobs, and lives in the community we serve.

Our Operating Standard

Every decision we make on a job site comes back to three things.

Documentation First

Every job generates a Digital Evidence Vault β€” thermal imaging, moisture readings, drying logs, and Xactimate-format scope. Your insurance adjuster receives documentation they can approve without back-and-forth. We protect you through paperwork, not just labor.

The Right Equipment

Florida's 70%+ ambient humidity demands LGR dehumidifiers, not standard units. Mold work demands HEPA 500 containment, not plastic sheeting and a box fan. We run the equipment the IICRC standard requires β€” not whatever's cheapest to haul in.

Finish the Job

Storm chasers leave. We live here. When the adjuster has a question six months after the job, we answer it. When a certificate of completion is needed for a home sale, we provide it. We are accountable for the work long after the dehumidifiers are packed up.

Honest Scope

We don't pad estimates to hit a number. We don't hide costs. The scope we present is the scope required β€” explained line by line. If your insurance covers it, we document it properly. If it doesn't, we tell you that before we start.

The Technical Toolkit

πŸ’§ LGR Dehumidifiers

Required standard for Florida's high-humidity structural drying. Continue extracting moisture at ambient humidity levels where standard units stall.

🌑️ FLIR Thermal Imaging

Detects hidden moisture behind walls and under floors invisible to standard meters. Every inspection documented for the claim.

🏠 Injectidry Systems

Dries wall cavities and sub-floor assemblies from the inside without demolition. Saves hardwood floors and custom millwork.

πŸŒ€ HEPA 500 Air Scrubbers

99.97% filtration at 0.3 microns. Creates negative air pressure in mold and fire containment zones, protecting adjacent areas.

🌫️ Thermal Fogging

Permanent smoke odor elimination β€” not masking. Follows the same pathways smoke traveled, penetrating cavities and porous surfaces.

πŸ“Š Xactimate Estimating

Industry-standard insurance documentation format used by every major carrier. Your adjuster gets a line-item scope they can approve directly.
